In-vehicle-type
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Rear spoiler type
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear spoiler. (See REAR SPOILER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
High-mount brake light removal note
Tie a string to the end of the connector of the high-mount brake light beforehand so that the connector can be passed easily through the rear spoiler during installation.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate lower trim. (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
