Warning
- Handling the front seat (side air bag) improperly can accidentally deploy the side air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS before handling the front seat. (See SERVICE WARNINGS.)
1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for more than 1 minute.
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the front door lock actuator connector.
2. Apply battery positive voltage to the front door lock actuator terminals
and inspect the operation of the front door lock actuator.
