Wheel Bearing Play Inspection
1. Position a dial indicator against the wheel hub.
2. Push and pull the wheel hub by hand in the axial direction and measure the wheel bearing play.
Maximum wheel bearing play 0.05 mm {0.002 in}
3. If the bearing play exceeds the specification, replace and tighten the locknut to the specified torque and retest.
- Replace the wheel hub component as necessary.

1. Park the vehicle on level ground.
2. Remove the oil level plug and washer.
3. Verify that the oil is near the brim of the plug port.
If the oil level is lower than the low level, add the specified amount
and type of oil through the oil level plug hole.
