1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
3. Disconnect the ignition switch connectors.
4. Inspect for continuity between the ignition switch terminals using an ohmmeter.
