Mazda 6 Service Manual: Steering angle sensor inspection
With DSC
1. Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
2. Disconnect the steering angle sensor connector.
3. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal A and ground to terminal F of the steering angle sensor.
4. Turn the steering wheel to the right and left, and verify that the voltage and pulses at the terminals are as shown in the figure.
- If not as specified, replace the body of the combination switch.

Bonnet switch has a built-in bonnet lock.
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the radiator grille.
4. Disconnect the bonnet switch connector.
5. Check the continuity between the bonnet switch terminals A and B using an
ohmmeter.
