Mazda 6 Service Manual: Headlight cleaner motor inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the washer tank. (See WASHER TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
3. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal D and ground to terminal C of the motor.
4. Verify that the headlight cleaner motor operates.
- If the motor does not operate, replace the headlight cleaner motor.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the radiator grille.
4. Disconnect the bonnet switch connector.
5. Check the continuity between the bonnet switch terminals A and B using an
ohmmeter.
